Good Points They answer the phone. In the many times I had to call them, and there were many times, they always answered in less than 2 minutes. That's as a good company should be if they appreciate their customers. Godaddy scores very high on this. After our first week our experience is that their email pipe and server load is favourably done. Kudos there. Also they host Ruby on Rails, but, and it's a big but detailed in the Bad Points box below. Bad Points Either their phone staff is not adequately knowledgeable or the technical handling is abysmal. We signed up and paid for 2 years on advance for two things: Web hosting for four domains, and email for a different domain. We signed up and paid for 2 years on advance for two things: Web hosting for four domains, and email for a different domain. After that first week our experience is that their email pipe and server load is favourably done, but after our web tech and Ruby specialist discovered that our shared web hosting account was not nearly $6/mo, but in order to deploy the site as Ruby normally does, we'd have to get their dedicated server, a 500% increase in the monthly price, but also would have to retain a $75/mo specialist. We cancelled the web hosting. Told their so-called Customer Appreciation Team we liked the email service and want it not to be disturbed.
